More than a year after the phone’s first release in India, the brand has quietly revived the Galaxy S21 FE 5G (2023) there. The new version has the same design and specifications, with the exception of the SoC. The handset is priced at Rs 44,999 (around $499) for 256GB memory in India.
The Snapdragon Galaxy S21 FE has been officially unveiled with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which has eight cores. The phone packs 256GB of on-board storage and 8GB of RAM. According to the south korean tech giant, a new colorway will be introduced. The ‘Fan Edition’ S-series from the corporation houses a 4,500mAh un-removable battery.
The Samsung S21 Fan Edition will be available in lavender, Graphite, white, Olive as well as a all-new Navy colour option. Galaxy s21 FE has been made available for purchase by Samsung on its Indian website, it is available only one storage variant – 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage, whose price has been tag at ₹ 49,999.
The phone will come with dual-SIM (Nano SIM) as per the listing found on the manufacturer’s website. The version of Android has not been revealed now, which could be Android 14 coupled with Samsung’s in-house One UI 5.1 skin. The main highlight of this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Last year in January 2022, this device was launched by the corporate with the Exynos 2100 processor.
On front, a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display offered a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sample rate of up to 240 Hz and protected by Corning Gorilla glass victus. The design of the phone is similar to its predecessor, according to which a punch hole has been given at the top center of the display for the selfie camera.
It has a triple camera configuration on rear, a 12-MP ultra wide lens, a 12-megapixel primary lens and an 8-MP telephone camera sensor, similar to the previous model. The new Galaxy S21 FE 2023 boasts a 32-MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy S21 FE (2023) featured a under display fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. It is IP68 certified for durability to dust and water. In connectivity segments, smartphones comes with 5G, 4G, latest WiFi 6, NFC, bluetooth, GPS, USB type-C port and wireless DeX.
This mobile has a 4500mAh non removable battery along with 25W wire charging, 15W wireless charging, in addition support reverse charging. phone includes an accelerometer sensor, gyroscope, barometer, geomagnetic sensors, light and a proximity sensor. It has a 177g weight, and offers dimensions of 155.7×74.5×7.9mm.
