Samsung Galaxy M31s, M30s, A71 5G Getting Android 11 Update

The Samsung is doing a good job providing an update of Android 11 on its A and M series which will be given on select devices which will also be offered on other phones in a short time.

Samsung started implementing it on Android 11 only after announcing the One UI 3.0 version update for its Galaxy smartphone, which initially provided updates on select phones by the company, but recently Samsung has given an update of One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 over its few more smartphones Galaxy A71 5G, Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy M30s and Galaxy M31s.

The Samsung Galaxy M31s and Samsung Galaxy A71 5G are the latest to receive the Android 11 update with firmware version M317FXXU2CUB1 and A716USQU2CUA7 respectively. which is initially being offered to Russia and Ukraine and will be given to all other regions later. in India, South Korean tech giant is pushing Android 11 update to two M series phones, the Galaxy M30s and M31s.

As we mentioned above, Samsung has given an update of Android 11/One UI 3.0 on its Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G, these 5G equipped mobile are among the first Galaxy A phones to get a stable Android 11 update. although there is no notification of this update on their 4G model yet.

After getting this update in all these phones, they will also get the features of Android 11 which includes – conversation sections, chat bubbles, media playback widgets, and more. This update will also bring One UI 3.0 features, such as such as an improved home-screen, add widget on lock-screen, a refreshed UI design, better privacy protection, new camera features, and more. however You can no longer connect to Chromecast using Smart View.

Samsung Exynos 2100 vs Snapdragon 888 : Result and Specs

The Exynos 2100 was recently unveiled by the company which is a flagship processor, Samsung has launched its new S21 series based on this chipset which is equipped with its global version, However, in China and the USA the S21 series is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. both are 5nm chipsets, which will be seen in the best smartphone of the year 2021.

Both the Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 also feature ARM CPU cores in the same 1+3+4 arrangement and have built-in 5G modem. both of them perform better than their predecessor, as well as they will reduce battery consumption. you can see the differences between these processors in the comparison table below.

The Snapdragon 888 Chipset has one Kryo 680 Prime (Cortex-X1) core clocked at up to 2.84GHz, three Kryo 680 Gold (Cortex-A78) high-performance cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and four Kryo 680 Silver (Cortex-A55) cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
likewise, the Exynos 2100 chipset includes a single Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.9GHz, 3 Cortex-A78 cores, and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. But while the Snapdragon 888 has an Adreno 660 graphics chip, the Samsung’s Exynos SoC is paired with Mali-G78 GPU.

both chipset offers 5nm technology and also support LPDDR5 RAM, their ISP (image signal processor) camera resolution of up to 200MP.

In the comparison table above, there is no significant difference between the two chipsets, but in real life there may be some difference in the figure. The best option to illustrate this can be done by comparing Samsung’s s21 Ultra to the Exynos and Snapdragon models. in result, the Snapdragon 888 model of the Galaxy S21 Ultra gets 701672 points on the AnTuTu score, while the Exynos model gets the 644316 points. however, if you compare the GPU term, then here also Snapdragon has more points in it.

even though the difference between both processors are very slender, but Samsung has filled this gap much more than before and has also proved its ability to make good chips. according to the latest leaks and rumors, to make it even better, Samsung is working with AMD (a leading desktop CPU manufacture) to achieve optimum results in the future.
