The South Korean tech giant officially announced two new A-lineup devices, the Galaxy A33 and A53 in March, 2022. both are 5G phones. In which Galaxy A33 is a budget device with highlight – 5nm Exynos 1280 chipset, a 48MP quad camera array on the back with OIS and it also has IP67 for water resistance. Samsung Galaxy A33 5G prices start from EUR 369, while the base variant is available at Rs 25,499 in india and this handset goes on sale from April 22 onwards.
The Galaxy A33 equipped a 6.4 inch FHD+ display with a punch hole cutout at the top center, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, Gorilla Glass 5, 90Hz refresh rate. Samsung Device is powered by an Octa-core 5nm chipset that clocked at 2.4 GHz & 2.0GHz, it packed on two storage configuration – 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage. While, mobile is also allowing a SD-card slot for upto 1TB storage expansion.
Coming to Camera segment, Samsung A33 5G featured a quad camera setup on rear, includes 48-megapixel wide-angel lens with f/2.0 aperture, OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and an 2-megapixel depth sensor. however, device has a 13-MP front facing imager. this smartphone runs on Android 12 with OneUI 4.1 skin on the top, recently company provides Android 13 with OneUI 5.0 update. like Galaxy A55, the A33 is also fueled by an 5,000mAh non-removable battery, along-with support of 25W wire charging.
this device has an optical in-display fingerprint reader. in addition, supports IP67 for water protection up to one meter deep. Other specifications in connectivity department, supports 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G networks and GPS, NFC, bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot. here samsung promises Android OS update for 4 years and 5 years Security Updates.

The Samsung A33 5G will be available in four colours – Awesome Black, Peach, Light Blue, company has priced the Galaxy A33 starting at €369 for the 6GB + 128GB version, same variant is priced at Rs 25,499 in india. however 8GB +128GB model is available for Rs 26,999.
