The Chinese tech giant xiaomi has introduced its two flagship, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 pro in Beijing. The company is calling it “flagship killer 2.0” and it can be pitted against the recently launched oneplus 7 pro. According to the new report, both devices will arrive in India soon with the name Pocophone f2 and Pocophone f2 pro.

The Pocophone F2 pro (Redmi K20 Pro) has a number of attraction such as latest snapdragon 855 SoC, 7th generation in-display fingerprint scanner, and 20MP selfie camera with pop-up mechanism.

Talking about new features and design, the Poco F2 Pro sports a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, which comes with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. it is almost Bezel-less and that’s why the selfie camera made their way through the pop-up from the top. Its pro variant has a triple camera configuration on the back and a pop-up selfie camera on the front.

Meanwhile, the standard model Pocophone f2 hold a selfie sensor in the drop notch house, on the rear, it comes with dual camera setup. this device also featured a 6.39-inch 1080p display. The body is made out of Plastic and glass which is great for durability and style as well. The poco series offering a 3D finish glass body with a gradient finish.

Pocophone F2 Pro Specification

As expected, The xiaomi F2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 855 Chipset that is operating upto 2.84 GHz. This handset has two storage options with 6GB and 8GB, and three storage options with 64GB, 128GB, 256GB. Phone equipped with adreno 640 GPU alongside Game Turbo 2.0 feature, which is designed optimizations for gaming.

It is fueled by a 4000 mAh battery, which also supports 27W Fast charging. Xiaomi reveals that the Pocophone f2 Pro comes with NFC support as well. there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and It also comes with support for Hi-Fi audio. both devices are used MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.

Xiaomi Pocophone F2 Pro has a 6.39 inch AMOLED display of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display has 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a 600 nits of maximum brightness. it also comes for HDR content support. this is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front. The smartphone packed an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

As far as the optics are concerned, the Xiaomi’s F2 pro boasts a triple rear camera setup, includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 main sensor of f/1.75 aperture, a 8-megapixel telephoto sensor and an another 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor. there is also a 20MP Motorized pop-up selfie camera on the front.

Xiaomi’s Pocophone F2 Specification

The Pocophone f2 has pretty much the similar features as the Xiaomi’s F2 Pro, except for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and Xiaomi using a different Sony IMX 582 imager for the primary 48MP camera. This one also has 18W C-type charging compared to the 27W fast battery charging on the Pocophone f2 Pro.

The Pocophone F2 is powered by 8nm snapdragon 730 SoC paired with Adreno 618, this f2’s processor has its own AI engine. this phone has 48MP (Primary lens) + 13MP (wide-angle lens) + 8MP (telephoto lens) triple camera combo on the back. whereas, it is hold a 20MP selfie camera in the drop notch house. coming to the storage department, the standard model offers the same RAM and storage options.

Price and Availability

Xiaomi will open pre-orders in China for the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. The Redmi K20 Pro (Poco F2 Pro) will be the first to go on sale at June 1, while its standard model will go on sale at June 6 in china.

So far Xiaomi has not launched any Snapdragon 855 phone in India. this chipset has been used in Mi Mix 3 and Mi9 flagships. It is then expected that this Pocophone f2 pro will be available in India by the end of July.

Xiaomi revealed the price of both phones for China, which is listed below. according to this, the Pocophone f2 Pro will start Rs 25,499 (around $360) for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage in India. It will be the cheapest cellphone with snapdragon 855 SoC. while 6GB/128GB memory variant will priced at Rs 26,499 (around $379) and the 8GB/128GB model will priced at Rs 28,499 (around $399). its most premium 8GB/256GB model will comes with Rs 30,499 (around $430) price tag.

In China, the Redmi K20 Pro (Pocophone F2 Pro) is priced as follows:

• 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage – CNY 2,499
• 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage – CNY 2,599
• 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage – CNY 2,799
• 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage – CNY 2,999

The Xiaomi unveiled Red and Blue colours options along with a Carbon fiber color options as well that has an amazing striking finish.

Note:- Both smartphones have been launched in China from the title of Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. Which is also known in Russia as Xiaomi Mi 9T. company also introduces a special variant for Avenger fans, the Redmi K20 Pro also gets an Avenger Edition exclusively for China.
